Horses For Sale

All horses offered for sale by Halliea (outside horses or friends' listings are case by case) are available for trial to an approved home.  This allows the prospective owner plenty of time to make an educated decision if the horse is a perfect match.  It also give the prospective owner an opportunity to have his/her vet, trainer, and farrier evaluate the horse in the environment where they will continue their education.  I understand the anxiety there can be by undertaking such a large investment, and I want a positive, stress-free experience for both the horse and the prospective owner that will hopefully end in a life-long partnership.  Before horses are allowed on trial, the prospective owner must first come see the horse and test ride it to make sure that they are suitable for one another.  The prospective owner must also be willing to pay the full amount for the horse, sign a purchase contract, and arrange/pay for all shipping costs.  There is also a $100 non-refundable deposit should the horse be returned to cover lapsed advertising, etc. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to trial rules, so please don't ask for one!

 A message from Cri's current owner:
Cri is 15.3h and 8yo. No soundness issues! She is a gentle and friendly mare. She was my event horse prospect until I realized I could no longer afford to event. She has schooled training level cross country and is an honest 1st level dressage mount, though she has the ability to do a lot more! An 11yo girl has been showing her in the 3'3 jumpers this summer while a trainer had her on consignment. She goes in a plain snaffle. This trainer valued the mare at $20,000! She is amazed at the willingness of this mare. She never stops!
 
Another plus....which would make this mare a great pony club horse, is that she knows all of the patterns for all of the games. She is quite handy and a lot of fun to ride.
